Description
Six chameleons were born. Unlike their colorful companions, one of them had a body as black as the deep night sky. Even so, the six chameleons played together and grew up healthily.
When the chameleons came to the forest and climbed up the tree full of red fruits, all of them turned red except the black chameleon. When the blue bird visited, the chameleons changed their bodies to blue. While playing hide-and-seek in the flower field, they changed their body colors like colorful flowers. Friends asked the black chameleon, "Why are you always black? Will you change when you grow up?" The black chameleon looked at his body quietly and replied, "Really?"
Finally, all six chameleons grew up. But the black chameleon remained black. Its friends all said, "You're still the same." "Why don't you change?" "Just wait a little longer. Maybe you'll become beautiful." The black chameleon just smiled faintly. Then, on a night when everyone was asleep, it looked up at the sky and said, "I'm a black chameleon. I like myself."
