Review

"When the book arrived, I was surprised—it's as long as my forearm. Spread open, it’s an absolute delight to pore over, with its soft, fuzzy textures blown up large.
I love how the artist handles fur and blocks of color. That moment when the little leopard climbs up a tree branch under the twilight sky to gaze at the moon just melts the heart—standing upright like a human, with a pair of calm, reflective eyes looking back, enveloped in a misty blue glow. It feels like self-reflection, like introspection. Simply looking—and then stepping out. To see those with strikingly different spots, those without spots, those with spots like his own. With those extraordinary eyes, he discovers a vast world."

Description

There was once a leopard whose spots looked like eyes.
Because he looked different, the other leopards shunned and mocked him. Some even felt uneasy, as if those eye-like spots were watching them.

Though surrounded by others, this leopard grew lonelier and lonelier. He couldn’t understand—his spots were no different in essence from those of the other leopards. Why should he be subjected to such cold scrutiny?

So the leopard decided to leave the group and explore the world beyond. Along the way, he learned to stand upright—and in doing so, saw sights he had never imagined…
