Description
This is a story about a mischievous child, and a grandmother who doesn’t want to do anything.
In the water, everyone is free!
The grandmother, whose whole body aches even when she stays still, is still at home today, wrapped in a blanket. However, her granddaughter keeps begging her to go to the swimming pool. Even after arriving at the pool with her heavy body, the grandmother grumbles about being forced to come and starts looking around the swimming pool. Unlike the old lady who is bored no matter what she does, every corner of the pool is full of energy, such as the sound of a whistle that can be heard from far away, the sound of a command to warm up before going into the water, and even people splashing and jumping into the water. As soon as the hesitant grandmother immerses herself in the water, something magical happens.
It is a magical story that transforms the moment in which one feels like that they can’t do anything resulting from a feeling of helpless as a result of getting older and a decrease in confidence.
Author
She fell in love with picture books a little later in life and went on to study art in France. There, she learned not only the language of form, but also the art of living slowly. She walks every day, often hikes in the mountains, and sometimes goes for a swim. She cherishes the small, beautiful things she discovers while moving through the world.
