Description

For a More Equitable Distribution of Economic Power
The global order is facing a historic rupture. While Western states cling to outdated dogmas and increasingly interpret their own rules selectively, the Global South is demanding a say and justice. In The Collapse of the World Order, Patrick Kaczmarczyk shows how market-liberal ideologies, neocolonial structures, and massive economic imbalances have prevented development for decades—and why the frustration of many countries today is justified. Using clear analyses of financial markets, trade policy, debt, and international institutions, he reveals why the current system has been shaken. A book for anyone who wants to understand how the global balance of power is shifting—and what that means for the future of the world.

There, he worked on debt and development financing as well as on projects in East Africa and the Middle East.
