Feature

★The book will enable all readers to participate in the digital economy more effectively and provide a common vocabulary to enable meaningful discussion and development of contemporary business strategy with colleagues and partners.
★There are numerous books written telling the Google, Facebook or Amazon story. Others tell aspects of the tech story, but very few actually map out how technology changes value creation, and even fewer provide a suite of tools to create a structure that enables readers to develop their own strategies. None do all of this in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has significantly fast-forwarded the growth and impact of the digital economy.
★This book addresses the key issues for anyone interested in how to create value today. Not only is digital technology transforming the experience of work and the location of work, but it is also changing the nature of competition itself, undermining some of the most basic laws of economics.

Description

Have you ever wondered how the tech giants conquered the world?
How many seem to be worth a fortune, when they are not even making a profit?

Understanding what drives such valuations and how to develop strategies to succeed in markets disrupted by technology will improve your ability to lead in a rapidly changing world.

The combination of technology, ecological, health and, most recently, geopolitical turbulence is accelerating the pace of change in business and creating levels of complexity that are rendering traditional best practices redundant.

Drawing upon their business and consulting experience, Taylor and Bochis bring emerging trends and market drivers to life through real examples and case studies.

Furthermore, at the end of every chapter is a toolkit to enable readers to extract the key points, accompanied by simple explanations of how to apply the knowledge to improve their own practice and adapt to this new world.
