Feature
★Special Mention in the 2026 BolognaRagazzi CrossMedia Awards!
★A rare encounter with fictional creatures. A picture book carrying the whimsical imaginations of over 600 children!
★The stories in this book originate from the imaginations of more than 600 children who submitted drawings of their "imaginary friends". Ultimately, 20 selected children's sketches were woven into a professional narrative universe.
★Explores how boredom and loneliness can become catalysts for imagination, teaching children that "strange ideas" are, in fact, trustworthy companions.
Description
Stop daydreaming and open this book now! The illustrations are free-spirited and energetic, while the book's philosophy is profound yet heartwarming.
Readers can find a dedicated "Imaginary Friend Paradise" page within the book, where you can draw your very own imaginary friend. After finishing your drawing and writing a description of your friend, if you send your work to the publisher, you will have the opportunity to participate in an online exhibition and enjoy a special video rendered by AI.
The story of the picture book may have ended, but children's imaginations are just beginning here!
Author
My creations originate from a child's perspective, employing diverse artistic styles to convey philosophical narratives. While children are my primary audience, I am also committed to creating open-ended picture books that allow adults to derive their own distinct interpretations. I was honored as an Illustrator of the Year at the 2008 Bologna Children's Book Fair for *Ivan the Fool*, and received the same prestigious award again in 2023 for *A Nonsensical Dream*. Furthermore, I was recognized with a "Special Mention" in the Crossmedia category at the 2026 Bologna Children's Book Fair.
