Description

Little Red Date the rabbit and Longan the cat work in an ancient herbal medicine shop. Behind every ingredient and aged object, they discover "traditional little spirits" waiting to be seen---some hiding in the hundred-drawer medicine chest, others nestled in copper grinding pots.
As the two friends seek out these spirits, they come to understand: tradition is not something locked in the past, but a precious gift each new generation can receive in their own way.
A gentle introduction to Chinese medicine and cultural heritage, perfectly pitched for ages 3-7.
