Feature
★Philosophy, parent-child love, and slow-living reflections—this is far more than a picture book; its words invite you to return again and again.
★Like the inner child we all share, it taps us gently on the shoulder and whispers, “Slow down—don’t forget why you started.”
Description
|| When “useless” becomes the most precious kind of useful
What counts as a strength? What’s branded a flaw? The harsh rule says: if it’s useful, it’s good; if not, toss it. Yet the story “A pig ang it’s best friend” quietly overturns that ledger. Bald Boy and Pig—two souls deemed almost worthless by the world—recognize and lift each other, proving that friendship can flourish where utility fails.
|| The wisdom of “I don’t know”
We live in an age of information overload, and the AI wave makes it feel as if omniscience is the new baseline. The tale “Mr. I-Don’t-Know” offers a counter-argument. Through Bald Boy’s unabashed shrug, we learn that uncertainty isn’t a flaw; admitting “I don’t know” can be a small act of courage and clarity.
|| The art of slowing down
From “Sleep Is Wonderful!” to “Let’s Take a Walk,” Guang Tou Zai: X-Factor keeps whispering: take your time. When Bald Boy discovers whole worlds inside a nap or invites us to stroll and simply feel the day’s rhythm, we find ourselves quietly healed.
Author
Born in Guangdong, China in the 1980s, Lego Liang currently works and lives between Beijing and Hong Kong.
An Eastern artist with dual identities as both entrepreneur and creative, Liang grew up in Guangdong—the birthplace of China’s Reform and Opening-Up—witnessing the nation’s gradual integration with the world. The cultural exchange and collision between global influences and Eastern traditions shaped his paradoxical yet vibrant worldview, enabling him to thrive and reflect amid drastic societal changes. This unique background fuels his unconventional approach to art, breaking established norms—a rarity among classically trained creators.
Liang has always harbored a picture-book dream. From the introspective Baldhead series to The Universal Truth Encyclopedia inspired by his son’s whimsical musings, he discovered that storytelling transcends pure visual art. These distinctive books, originally tales for children, blend father-son daily life with boundless imagination. Each story—even a fleeting vignette—reveals unassuming wisdom and tender emotions through the lens of "Baldhead," inviting contemplation and savoring.
