Description

Has a friend ever told you a story that you've already heard a thousand times before but, even so, you love hearing it again?
A conversation can be as simple as that: returning to a familiar place with someone we know (and that in itself can be great). But a conversation – even when we seem to be saying nothing new – can also take us to places we've never been to before, places we reach simply because we've continued along a certain path with a certain person. This book lays some important questions down on the table. For example: How might we create a space for conversation when it doesn't already exist? Why is it so easy to have conversations with some people and more difficult with others?
Having conversations is part of being human, and the way we communicate is an important part of finding our place in the world. Conversation might not provide solutions for absolutely everything, but it's an essential part of forging a path together. So come join us at the table!
