Description
This series acts as a psychological massage for children, encouraging them to write down their feelings after reading and send them to Mr. Toad, as well as to themselves.
The first volume corresponds to "The Wizard of Oz." Swept away by a tornado to the Land of Oz, Mr. Toad meets the Scarecrow, who longs for a brain, and the Tin Woodman, who desires a heart. As these three imperfect companions travel together toward the Emerald City, they support each other and face their own flaws. The story guides children to accept their shortcomings and believe that everyone possesses a unique light.
The second volume adapts "Peter Pan." Flying to Neverland, Mr. Toad encounters the eternally youthful Peter Pan, the gentle fairy Tinker Bell, and the brave Wendy. Amidst adventures against Captain Hook, Mr. Toad begins to ponder: Is growing up really so terrifying? This story helps children understand the true meaning of "farewells" and "growing up," teaching them to find courage amidst change.
The third volume corresponds to "The Little Prince." Arriving on the Little Prince's planet, Mr. Toad meets the Rose, the Fox, and the Lamplighter. Through conversations with the Little Prince, Mr. Toad slowly understands that what is essential is invisible to the eye; it can only be seen with the heart. This story teaches children about "taming" and "responsibility," and how to nurture precious relationships with their hearts.
