Description

If a dear friend, at a very difficult time (one of the worst) in your life, told you: “The only important thing in this life is to be happy,” what would you think? Maybe at that difficult time it seems like a utopia, but here is a secret: happiness can be trained! With solid and constant preparation it is possible to achieve surprising results and find the way to move from a difficult life to a happy existence. In his new book, psychoneuroimmunologist Xavi Cañellas faces the widely held belief that happiness is ephemeral, that we can only feel it for a few moments, and shows us that we should not resign ourselves to a life sprinkled with a few sporadic sparks of happiness. Achieving it will depend on many factors, both internal and external, with special emphasis on one of them: the family. As the Buddhist saying goes: “Whoever believes he is enlightened, should go spend a week with his family.”

With a bit of humor and a lot of truth, The Only Thing That Matters analyzes in depth the implications that the family environment has on the achievement - or not - of our life goals. There is only one step left for you to stop looking and start working on your happiness: turn this book over and immerse yourself in reading. When you get to the end, especially if you have practiced the proposed exercises, you will find yourself a good distance from where you are at this moment in life. Do you accept the challenge?
