Description

“The book that offers a compassionate perspective on the refugee issue. It tells the stories of various animals knocking on the door of Rabbit Village, symbolizing the stories of refugees.”

"Knock, knock." Animals start coming to the peaceful Rabbit Village. The rabbits warmly greet them, willingly meeting their needs and offering help.
At first, it was like that. But as more animals come seeking survival, and as more things need to be shared, the rabbits become increasingly dissatisfied.
They complain about the carrots disappearing from the carrot field, the pond becoming more polluted, the moles monopolizing tunnel-digging jobs and causing the rabbits to lose their jobs, and the warbler's song disrupting the children's classes...

What resolves the conflicts between the rabbits and the other animals are the voices of children singing and laughing. Unlike the adults who raise their voices and blush, the children hold hands and run around the neighborhood, singing.

"Let's live together, until the fight is over. Let's play together here, until we find a home."
The story reminds readers, just like someone warmly welcomed the present Rabbit Village in the past, that we, too, were guests and hosts, and someday we can be guests again.
