Description

A book that analyzes the "marketing" of every war through on-the-ground testimonies, enabling readers to understand the mechanisms behind propaganda in armed conflicts.

By examining the war in Ukraine, Sara Reginella—a psychotherapist and reporter who has documented the conflict since its origins over eight years, including four field missions—exposes various layers of manipulation and propaganda. She reveals how the modus operandi linked to the genesis and dramatic escalation of the Russia-Ukraine confrontation can also be applied to other conflicts. Offering readers practical tools for identifying the mechanisms underlying armed confrontations, the author analyzes established patterns of political inertia, uncovers the psychological methods and strategies inherent in the "marketing of war," and provides antidotes to resist disinformation underpinning all forms of war propaganda.

For anyone wishing to understand the hidden mechanisms of media manipulation tied to the "marketing" of every war, this book is essential reading.
