Description

In this story about a badger who is a passionate singer, with his tireless singing practice, the badger really gets on the nerves of every neighbour in the forest. He is so annoying that they start thinking about how to silence him. But in the execution of their plan, things take an unexpected turn, and the hunters fall into their own trap. Literally. Naturally, it is the badger who comes to the rescue, and after the animals are saved, they are in for another surprise...

Nina Mav Hrovat takes another stroll through the forest, like in About A Mouse That Makes New Friends. For humorous effect, she complements the colourful company of animal characters, who hatch a not-very-nice plan, with a snail, who naturally keeps falling behind... The heartwarming story of friendship, tolerance and selfless help, shows how one can be hoisted with their own petard, and in the end, both the animals and the reader are – as is fitting – surprised by a twist.
