Description

A herd is a group of animals of the same species that live together. They live together, move together, and share every moment of their lives. Living among their own kind should be the normal, natural state. But for the protagonists of this book, this was not the case. For most of their lives, they lived alone, far from their own kind.

These are stories of animals and humans. Stories of people who keep animals captive, and of people who bravely step forward to rescue them, care for them, and reintroduce them to the wild. Those animals forgot how to use their claws, how to dig the earth, and what it feels like to bathe in the sun, rain, and fresh wind. But thanks to these kind people, their lives changed: they began their journey toward freedom. And one day, they became part of the herd again.
