Description
I love freedom and creative things, but what I dislike most is being forced to learn.
I enjoy writing in my diary. I love raising my hand to answer questions. I like chatting with my teacher.
I like playing funny tricks on Mom and Dad. I love teasing my cousin, Popcorn.
In this book's stories, I've discovered how fascinating reading can be—but even good things require self-control! I also found that organizing things can be surprisingly addictive, and that boys and girls have different ways of playing. In my dreams, I met my late grandmother, and I came to realize I have a truly wonderful older brother... Each experience helps me grow just a little bit.
The book contains ten entertaining stories, each followed by a 30-second psychological comic that acts like a fast-forward button for the little theater in my heart—teaching me not to leave things lying around, not to hold in bathroom needs during class just because I'm too shy to tell the teacher, what death really means... and how to manage myself better.
In this book, you'll see me grow from a slightly nervous little kid into a primary schooler who knows how to care for others, keeps promises, and bravely faces challenges. I hope that as you read, you'll laugh along with me and grow your own courage and wisdom too!
