Description

Every parent knows that support and positive thinking can help children overcome their doubts and insecurities. When boys and girls first explore the world, they are bound to encounter setbacks. Negative experiences can accumulate—only warm encouragement from parents can help children find strength and regain confidence in their own abilities. With this in mind, Anita Vaičanti has created a second volume: 27 brand-new healing fairy tales.

These 27 heartwarming stories are filled with empowering beliefs—simple yet profound ideas that help children build inner strength. After reading these fairy tales, children will learn to:
- Trust themselves
- Develop creative thinking
- Appreciate their unique qualities
- Dare to try new things
- Accept their emotions

Even children can become the protagonists of these fairy tales—the texts prepared for parents include special notes and heartfelt messages for the kids. After each story, adults and children can engage in fun activities to reinforce the positive messages: deep conversations, games, exercises, and even creative writing. This book is suitable for children aged 3 to 8, and both children and parents will enjoy the vibrant, beautifully illustrated pages.

Author

[Author] Anita Vayakanti
With over 11 years of professional experience, Anita is a seasoned child, perinatal, and family psychologist, as well as an art therapist. She is also a gifted author of therapeutic fairy tales that use warm, healing words to nurture children’s hearts. Deeply immersed in the field of child psychology, she excels at integrating psychological theory with art therapy techniques, incorporating games and creative activities into her work to subtly cultivate positive thinking in children. Through storytelling, she empowers children’s emotional growth, helping them build self-confidence and embrace who they are.

Her solid academic foundation has provided a strong base for her professional practice. In 2015, Anita graduated from the Department of Applied Psychology at St. Petersburg State University of Psychology and Social Work. In 2017, she continued her studies in the university’s Department of Health and Developmental Psychology, where she systematically mastered core knowledge of child psychological development and intervention—this department is renowned for its practice-oriented approach, emphasizing the integration of theory with psychological counseling and intervention methods, which has greatly supported her subsequent work.

Her extensive frontline experience has given her a profound understanding of children’s inner worlds. From 2014 to 2015, she served as a preschool teacher and psychologist at the “Neposedy” early childhood education institution in St. Petersburg, gaining close insights into the daily lives and development of young children. From 2015 to 2018, she worked at the I-Rise Center for Health and Developmental Psychology as a child psychologist and group leader, focusing on individual and group psychological interventions for children. During the same period (2016–2018), she was the head of art therapy groups at the “Ot A do Z” early childhood education institution in St. Petersburg, deeply blending art therapy with psychological guidance for children. Through painting, play, and other artistic forms, she helped children express their emotions and build confidence—aligning closely with her philosophy of incorporating creative interaction into her therapeutic fairy tales. From 2018 to 2021, she offered individual and group sessions at the T.P. Center for Practical Psychology and Psychoanalysis in Kyiv, further expanding her practice in psychotherapy. From 2019 to 2021, she served as a child psychologist at the inclusive early childhood education institution “Cool Kids Club” in Kyiv, gaining valuable experience in counseling children with diverse needs.

Years of accumulation and hands-on practice have endowed Anita’s work with both scientific rigor and warmth, making it highly practical. With her expertise and passion, she has become a guardian of countless children’s emotional growth, while also providing parents with clear, accessible guidance on child psychology.
