Feature

★ A self-help comic series that elementary school students can read on their own. Within one year of its release, cumulative sales exceeded 1.3 million copies, and the entire series (including subsequent expansions) has been reprinted a total of 6.5 million times.
★ Six major themes × 235 real-life scenarios: social skills, self-confidence, emotional self-control, self-reliance, positivity, and humor. Whether it’s a child who doesn’t dare to say hello, gets stage-frightened, is afraid of the dark, feels discouraged after being criticized, or experiences exam-related stress—every issue is addressed with a corresponding comic scene and a scientifically-backed solution.
★ Developed jointly by an expert team including Tsinghua University master’s degree holders, Chinese Academy of Sciences PhDs, and education and psychology PhDs from Beijing Normal University. The Traditional Chinese edition has been featured on the bestseller lists at Books.com.tw and Eslite Bookstore. Eight Taiwanese clinical psychologists, pediatricians, and parenting authors have enthusiastically recommended this series.
★ Don’t like lectures? Then let comics do the talking. Each chapter follows a four-step process: scenario reenactment → psychological analysis → skill practice → summary and reflection. No need for parents to “translate”—kids can understand it all on their own.
The first volume of this series comprises six books:
1. Social Skills Kids Should Know (Social Skills)
2. I Can’t Live Without Courage and Confidence (Self-Confidence)
3. It’s Okay—Everyone Feels Down Sometimes (Emotional Self-Control)
4. Learning to Manage and Help Yourself (Self-Reliance)
5. I Want to Learn More and Do More (Positivity)
6. Humor Makes Me More Popular and Happier (Humor)

Description

This book selects 38 scenarios that are closely related to elementary school students’ daily lives, such as failing an exam, being teased in public, or struggling with a lack of motivation to learn, and aims to help children develop a strong sense of engagement. Organized around two core themes—“learn more” and “do more”—it encourages children to stay proactive and positive both in their studies and in their everyday lives.
