Author

Gilles Tibo has written more than a hundred children’s books. He was a Canada Council fellow and is the recipient of many awards, including two Mr. Christie’s Book Awards and two Governor Generalʼs Awards. He is a two-time nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize.

Nahid Kazemi is an award-winning illustrator who has published over 70 children’s books in Canada, the US, Europe, the UK, China, and Iran by several established publishing houses, including Simon & Schuster, Groundwood Books and Enchanted Lion. She has received the Governor General’s Literary Award in Canada and has been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
