Description

To mark the 20th anniversary of her literary debut, originally published a decade ago and long out of print, this beloved collection returns with 14 stories—9 new works and 5 selected from the original edition. The collection is divided into two thematic parts:

"The Story of Caduceus" is a series of interconnected science fiction stories set in a future where faster-than-light space travel is possible. A corporation named “Caduceus” monopolizes this technology, raising questions about power, mobility, and ethical control.

"In a Collapsed World, We" gathers queer stories set in post-disaster scenarios. In the title story, THE STILL BOX, a mysterious box allows its users to explore alternate versions of their lives. It becomes a powerful symbol of the desperate desire to save a loved one—even if it means turning back time.
