Hyun Chan-yang began her literary career by winning the Busan Ilbo Annual spring literary contest in the play category in 2013 with Room 401, Yoon Jeong’s House, and later received the 4th Elixir Mystery Award in the short story category in 2021. After winning the MBC drama script contest in 2021 with The Gourmet Detective Heo Gyun, she has yet to leave the adventures of the characters.
