Description

When absence is better understood through images than words: a story about grief.

Alfonso Casas invites us to delve into his most personal work: a deeply intimate journey in which he confronts the grieving process after the loss of his mother. This book is not only an exercise of memory, but also a way of accompanying himself -and those who read it- in one of the most universal transits: learning to live with absence.

These pages are both a mourning for her absence and a celebration of her existence. This story is dedicated to them, and to all those who are going through something similar.

"There are only two things that are certain in life. The first is that we all have a mother. The second, that we are all going to die... Now the only two certainties in my life had collided, and I had to try to survive the impact".
