Description

Who doesn't have monsters inside? They keep us awake at night, replaying conversations from the day. They make us overthink punctuation in a text message. They bring a sudden cloud over an ordinary moment, making us feel worthless. This book captures the midnight reflections of urban life, filled with small anxieties and inward-looking honesty.

Alfonso Casas personifies the emotions and psychological struggles many young people share as a group of monsters that accompany the protagonist in daily life. Every morning, they are there at the bedside. The protagonist is forced to coexist with them, never knowing when they will barge in with another emotional storm. In the end, he decides to sit down and talk with the monsters.
