Feature
★ Centered around the act of "letter-writing," the story vividly portrays misunderstandings and emotional shifts between the characters. This provides a perfect opportunity for parent-child reading, guiding children to learn how to express themselves, understand others, and develop empathy and social-emotional skills.
★ The open-ended conclusion stimulates children's sense of participation, encouraging them to engage with the story through activities like "writing letters" to help the characters solve their problem. This fosters a sense of accomplishment and creative joy through practical application.
★ The story naturally integrates basic scientific concepts such as the states of water and ice, and the climatic differences between the Antarctic and Africa. It cleverly sparks children's curiosity about the geographical and physical world in a narrative way, making it an excellent early science enlightenment reading materials.
★ The illustrator employs rich collage techniques to create highly decorative and distinctive visuals. The color changes in the front and endpapers subtly hint at the change of locations and characters' emotions. This nuanced visual language greatly enhances the fun and exploratory nature of the reading experience.
