Feature

A dystopian tale that combines an exciting science fiction adventure with philosophical and critical reflections about the overexploitation of Nature.

Description

For decades, people believed that, if the end of the world were to come, it would be gradual. They believed there was still time to change course. But then everything changed very quickly. Climate change altered the face of our blue planet. The sun beat down relentlessly. The soil was dry and nutrient-poor, and waste had poisoned the water.

Eira lives in this dangerous place with the elderly inventor Usige and a small community of survivors. She is an adventurous girl who likes exploring this submerged world with her friend Momo, a rat she named after her favorite book.

When the water pump in her greenhouse stops working, Eira embarks on a journey in which she must overcome numerous challenges and discover the secret of her origins.
