Author
An award-winning author of children’s literature, a member of the China Writers Association, and a three-time recipient of the Bingxin Children’s Book Award. She weaves environmental awareness and a spirit of universal love into her stories, believing that “where there is love, there is hope.”
For many years she edited the environmental magazines Environmental Education and Children of the Earth. Two of her projects have been selected for China’s National Publishing Fund, and her books have been named among the National Press and Publication Administration’s “100 Recommended Books for Young Readers” and added to the catalogue of China’s primary and secondary school libraries. She has received the Administration’s second “One Hundred Original Works” award and the 13th Shandong Province “Fine Literature and Art Project” Prize. Her titles include The Magic Green Camp and Winnie’s Garden.
Zhu Shifang(Illustrations)
A celebrated illustrator who has spent years creating artwork for books and picture stories for children. Her illustrated works include The Retired Shoes, The Fire Fox, The Tiger That Turned Vegetarian, Six Short Sons, Little Willow and Little Jujube, Chinese Festival Picture Book: Spring Festival, and Ying Wa Eco-Picture Book: Grandpa and I by the Lake. She received the fifth Beijing Excellent Popular Science Work Award, and rights to her illustrations have been sold to the United States and other countries.
