Lightning is one of nature's most spectacular phenomena. The author takes us through the history of understanding it, including cereuonic phenomena, more or less successful attempts at measurement, colors, records, and curiosities. A book that keeps us glued to the flashing sky.

Author

Vanessa Policicchio Rizzoli, born in Latina in 1982, is an anesthesiologist. Always passionate about literature and an avid reader since childhood, she decided to cross over to the other side and began imagining stories that took shape in picture books. “The Book of Lightning” is her first children’s book.

Sarah Arrocio is an illustrator and visual artist. Her first encounter with illustrations was when she saw “Dinosaur Denver” at the age of four, since then, she has never stopped illustrating. She likes to take a leap of faith and then restore everything to an orderly state. “One Day, All of This Will Be on You” is her first book for children.
