Description

In this nearly 4-meter-long watercolor scroll lies a full day unique to the monster street market:

In the early morning, with the sky painted in sunrise colors, monsters bustle around, lingering at vegetable, fruit, and flower stalls at the morning market. At noon, under the blazing sun, a monster uncle repairs shoes in the shade, while a monster grandpa takes a nap in a cotton-fluffing shop. In the afternoon, as the sun sets, the streets are filled with long, warm shadows of monsters. By evening, as twilight sets in and the moon and stars begin to appear, the market sounds grow lively, and the night deepens...

Author Mao Maochong, with a faithful yet romantic touch, creates a dreamlike monster street market brimming with beauty and vitality. This is a work of emotion that speaks to inner visions and sediments beautiful daily life, filled with affectionate reflections on life that evoke warm memories from the depths of our hearts.
