Description

"The Tao Te Ching" is a philosophical text authored by Laozi during the Spring and Autumn Period of Chinese history. Structured around the concepts of Tao (the Way) and De (Virtue), it addresses themes such as self-cultivation, state governance, military strategy, and conduct in society. It is widely honored as the “definitive classic among all classics”.

Feng Tang, drawing from two decades of hands-on strategic management experience, thoroughly demonstrates how the "Tao Te Ching" can be applied in contemporary contexts:

The Way of Achievement: adapting ancient rulers’ arts of statecraft and personnel management into modern leadership methodologies;

The Virtue of Achievement: translating principles of self-cultivation and social conduct into practical mental frameworks for today’s world.

This book combines Laozi’s philosophy with management insights from both Eastern and Western traditions, supplemented with real-world cases. It offers not only profound principles but also usable techniques, making it a must-read for managers seeking to strengthen their leadership and for everyday individuals aspiring to live a fulfilling life.
