Description
The author of “Quiet Moments in Motion,” Tian Ran, is a young woman who has been devoted to painting since the age of three. Those days that seem ordinary to most people: sunbathing under the three o’clock afternoon sun, reading alone on a rainy day, looking up to encounter the first snow... The author takes these individual static moments and, through artistic processing with unique imagination and insight, transforms them into readable sequential artwork full of narrative quality, reminiscent of a montage in a life movie (creating unique meaning through the splicing of life fragments). Readers who take the time to read it quietly will discover an unprecedented beauty of life's tranquility and detail within the visual stories.
