Feature
★ Stunning Chinese style illustrator and artist Zhang Yu's personal art collection!
The book includes over 120 high-quality ink paintings from the past 10 years, named after traditional Chinese five colors and divided into chapters.
★ Use the technique of copying and printing to achieve a high degree of restoration to the original painting.
★ Add ultra clear enlarged partial pages to fully experience the beauty of details in the original manuscript.
★ There is also a huge pull tab nearly 1 meter wide, which is bound with book lock thread and leaves a lasting impression.
Description
- Mysterious Ink-Black depths
- Drifting Moon-White silks
- Gentle Jade-Blue whispers
- Fiery Cinnabar heartbeats
- Lustrous Vermilion-Gold sparks
Each chapter is built around one of these five hues. Traditional freehand ink dances with jewel-bright mineral pigments, refusing to be boxed in as “immortal,” “demon,” or “deity.” They simply are—alive, ungovernable, unforgettable.
Author
A leading voice among China’s new-gen artists, Zhang Yu fuses classical ink spontaneity with Dunhuang-style mineral brilliance. Her work spans painting, design, and film art direction. You’ve seen her posters for "Big Fish & Begonia", "Mural", "The Story of Minglan" and more. In 2023 she served as art director for "Deep Sea" and "The Wandering Earth".
