Ian
BA in Literature and MA in Philosophy from Wuhan University; BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2014), majoring in Painting. Exhibited in New York, Chicago, Tokyo, and Shanghai; works collected by Bone Space, DuPage Children’s Museum, and Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collection. Awards include Nippon Steel USA Presidential Purchase Award and Incentive Merit Scholarship.
Inspired by urbanization and childhood memories, Ian’s paintings reflect observations of change. The works convey profound emotions, depicting hidden stories and imaginations that reveal deep connections between life and memory.
