Description
During their journey in Beijing, the two become embroiled in a gang and drug-related scandal. Under the pressure of reality and dreams, they are forced to use violence to navigate this brutal world. When Zhou Zidan tries to prove Zhao Xiaodao’s involvement in the murder, he discovers that Zhao Xiaodao has been protecting Zhou Zidan’s secret about his dissociative identity. So who is really at fault? Who is the real killer of Teacher Lu?
The novel builds suspense through concise chapters, exploring the truth from the perspective of young Zhou Zidan. Without any evidence, the protagonist approaches the suspect through observation and companionship to unravel the mystery. The story uses musical dreams and the struggles of youth as themes to depict how contemporary teenagers face difficulties in reality.
