Have you ever encountered these frustrations on your journey to learning Japanese?
Always being confused about the usage of は and が.
Constantly misusing conditional forms like と, なら, ば, and たら.
Struggling with the differences between Japanese and Chinese in expressing "giving" and "receiving" – the perplexing causative and passive verbs.
Never being able to remember the distinction between intransitive and transitive verbs, and not knowing how to memorize them.
Having already given up on causative-passive forms...
For Japanese learners, grammar is the most fundamental aspect of understanding the structure of the language. However, due to differences between Chinese and Japanese grammar, learners often face confusion. Moreover, many people study Japanese with the goal of passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), only to find that the Japanese used in everyday life in Japan seems entirely different from what they learned for the test. What should you do when your knowledge doesn't seem to apply in real-life situations?
This is precisely when you need the KoLi Japanese Concept Grammar Book! Drawing on years of teaching experience, KoLi has pinpointed and organized the most common grammar pain points for Chinese-speaking learners, making your journey in Japanese learning and test preparation smooth and successful!
The book is organized into chapters based on concepts such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, particles, and compound particles. Each chapter covers core concepts and sentence patterns for different levels. In addition to the standard grammar explanations found in other books, the unique feature of this book is the sections specifically tailored for JLPT learners, including "Important Sentence Patterns for JLPT," "Confusing Grammar Points," "Grammar Refresher," and "Comprehensive Grammar Guide." With extensive sentence pattern analysis, practical examples, visual illustrations, tabular organization, and hands-on exercises, you can strengthen your Japanese skills while preparing for the JLPT. There's no need to separate language learning from test preparation – this book offers efficient, two-in-one learning!
