Description

Cosmology is going through a fascinating time: observation and analysis have allowed great progress in our understanding of the universe and how it works. However, its complexity represents a great challenge for popular science, as it is necessary to explain abstract concepts in a way that is accessible and attractive to everyone.

In this book, the author successfully tackles this major challenge, conveying in clear and concise language the current knowledge of modern physics and cosmology, from the first cosmological models of Ancient Greece to the most advanced concepts of quantum theory and general relativity. The reader will find a detailed and comprehensive guide to understanding the latest theories and discoveries in cosmology, from the evolution of the universe at its origin to the latest research into the nature of dark matter and dark energy.

This is an essential book for all those interested in learning about current advances in cosmology and the physics of the universe, as well as for those who want to enjoy the beauty and complexity of the cosmos in which we live.
