Description

This series presents cutting-edge scientific knowledge in the form of fun, engaging comics. It covers knowledge points from various scientific fields, such as "atoms and their structure" (physics), "reverse osmosis membranes" (chemistry), "the function of red blood cells in transporting oxygen" (biology), and "the positional relationship between two circles" (mathematics), all brought to life through lively comic illustrations.

In this book, readers are introduced to allotetraploid wild rice—a crop with enormous biomass, inherent hybrid vigor, and strong environmental adaptability. The successful rapid de novo domestication of this wild rice not only proves that technological innovation can overcome its non-domesticated traits, such as small seeds and easy shattering, but also provides a crucial pathway for creating and cultivating new crop species in the future. Moreover, it offers a new strategy for addressing future food crises.
