Description
The next morning, a beautiful woman named Anna enters Dorin's life, and her true identity is an FSB officer. Her purpose in approaching Dorin is to infiltrate his inner circle to investigate how his company and its employees are preparing and organizing to use biological weapons for terrorist attacks. Dangerous biological materials stolen from a neighboring country's laboratory have been smuggled into the country, and all clues point to the company led by Alexei Dorin. As she gets closer to and interacts with Dorin, Anna and Dorin develop feelings for each other and confide in each other. To solve the case, they jointly study and analyze examples of the development of biological weapons in various countries and instances of biological weapon leaks, trying to find clues about the impending terrible crime: where will the crime location be? What kind of biochemical weapon will the criminals use?
As the investigation deepens, Anna and Dorin discover that the murdered woman had transferred the formula for the biochemical weapon research to Dorin in a desperate attempt to prevent the terrorist attack, and she died in Dorin's home for that very reason. However, the data flash drive containing the biological formula has disappeared. When the FSB discovers that the place of the terrorist attack should be a football stadium - the opening ceremony of the Russian Football Championship is taking place that day - the rhythm of fear has reached its peak. After going through great hardships to find the flash drive, Dorin discovers that the cunning biological weapon is not spread through the air but through the fire - extinguishing system. At the critical moment, Dorin rushes to the site of the terrorist attack, manages to shut down the fire - extinguishing system, and prevents the terrorist attack, while Anna saves his life.
The protagonists of this book are true heroes of the times. The protagonist Alexei Dorin is a male character who thinks at a higher level, can make decisions quickly and take responsibility, and is inevitably somewhat flawed, but always resourceful and reliable, in addition to having keen intuition and animal - like instincts. The protagonist Anna, despite being in a demanding profession, is not lacking in gentleness, and under the "defender" mask, there is a vulnerable soul. The two rich, humane characters of different genders, with their relationship collision from conflict to cooperation, make the plot extremely engaging. The author Yevgenia Kretova raises important and serious issues in the book, explores complex and popular topics, and encourages readers to reflect and think critically.**
