Review

Giacomo Nanni is one of the smartest and most talented comic book writers working today. He is also one of the few people I envied. -- Gipi (Italian cartoonist and director)

A book full of poetry, dedication and wisdom. This is a reflection on memories and how we cherish them. - Francesco Boille, “The International”

Feature

★In 2007, Nanni set himself a challenge: He had to draw a page of comics every day for a year and publish them on his blog. It wasn't long before his beloved cat Estelina became the star of the show. Collecting all of Nanni's drawings from his blog (from 2007 to 2009), this beautiful collection offers the opportunity to appreciate the evolution of the author's painting style, his conversations with Estelina the Cat, and the process of self-healing.

Description

Nanni's surreal conversations with Estelina read like therapy sessions, allowing the author to improve himself and overcome her own doubts and worries, and Estelina becomes his friend in life.

Each page is a micro-narrative of its own, and a part of a larger visual souvenir that celebrates Estelina's memory and invites the readers to focus on and feel the moment.
