Description
What do you wish you to be?
Min-ju doesn't want to participate in the school talent show because she thinks there is nothing she can do better than the others. She is loitering around in the school yard instead of going to the talent show, when she notices a colorful tent and walks in. Inside the tent, she finds a bunch of mirrors and a table with cards on it. A deep voice from somewhere asks her, "You don't seem to like yourself. What do you wish you to be?" Min-ju thinks hard to find an answer to that question, and then she remembers Bora, who paints really well. The minute she says Bo-ra's name, she notices that a ribbon hair pin appears on her hair that is identical to what Bo-ra always wears. Min-ju walks out the tent, and she finds out that she just won the first prize in a drawing contest.
Min-ju looks the same as she always has, but she realizes she has Bo-ra's talent and character. Min-ju is thrilled. But Min-ju wants more than painting talent, and she keeps changing herself into a different Min-ju. But the more perfect she becomes, the more faults she gains, because she not only takes on the talents of other kids, but their faults, too. Now, she becomes estranged from her family and even her puppy. Min-ju misses her old self, who doesn't have a special talent but has a good appetite, is a good friend to others, and has a kind heart. Eventually, Min-ju picks her original self and returns tothe school talent show.
