Description

A time to focus on colors blooming softly upon paper—
Vibrant green plants and delicate petals,
Painting them will bring you joy.

Wishyu's book "If Only I Could Paint Watercolors Well" achieved 100% funding on Tumblbug within just three days and is now published. Designed especially for those picking up watercolors for the first time since school, this book starts from the very beginning: how to hold a brush and draw gentle lines. Its carefully structured 4-week program allows you to progress step by step, even on your own. With the right tools and a grasp of water control, watercolor is easier than you think. Let’s paint refreshing green plants and lovely flowers, filled with Wishyu’s clear and delicate sensibility.

Tailored for beginners, the 4-week program includes QR codes offering video tutorials by the author herself, covering basic techniques and how to paint lemon leaves. The book includes sketch templates for all projects that require outlining, plus two pre-printed watercolor papers with sketches, ready for you to start painting right away.

Author

Cha Yu-jeong
Ever since I was a child, I have loved painting deeply. My journey took me through art-focused middle and high schools, all the way to art college, always accompanied by a paintbrush. After graduation, I taught students preparing for art school entrance exams. Later, I became a web designer, and although I gradually grew distant from painting, a heartfelt longing to pick up the brush again always remained—until I finally enrolled in a watercolor class. With a wish to share the clear and beautiful colors of watercolor with more people, I wrote this book. My published work includes If Only I Could Paint Watercolors Well.
