Description

If it were up to Otis P. Oliver, baths would be prohibited. He doesn’t mind being a little grubby. Or even a lot grubby, for that matter. Why should he have to take a bath four times a week when the dog only gets one a month?
But things come to a head (or a nose!) when Otis’s anti-bath stance results in one very smelly little boy. With his family united against him, Otis decides to rally his friends for support in his efforts to stay out of the tub. With a campaign that includes slogans like “The only thing we have to fear is soap itself,” Otis and his supporters stage a protest outside his house. It’s up to his understanding mother to come up with a resolution that suits everyone.
