Description

Winter 1916. In front of the grocery stores there are daily human snakes. The supply situation with food is catastrophic. A stalker begins to eliminate competitors and unwilling suppliers by hanging them up. As in the k. u. k. Ministry of War, a senior official is found hanged, Oberinspector Nechyba and a high military C-arm are entrusted with the investigation. In the search for the "Executioner of Vienna," Nechyba himself is almost on the collar this time.

Gerhard Loiblesberger was born in Vienna in 1957. In 2009 he started the „Naschmarkt Murders“, a series of historical crime novels starring the corpulent inspector Joseph Maria Nechyba. You can see Gerhard Loibelberger live at one of his many readings or playing concerts with the jazz and improvisation project Club Dada and his underground band „Der dritte Mann“.
