Author

Gerhard Loibelsberger, born in Vienna in 1957, started a series of historical crime novels about the heavyweight Inspector Joseph Maria Nechyba in 2009 with the »Naschmarkt-Murden«. In 2010 "The Naschmarkt Murders" were nominated for the Leo Perutz Prize. In addition, the author's works have already been awarded the silver and gold HOMER literature prize. In 2017, the Italian thriller "In the Name of the Godfather" - as a sequel to the Venice thriller "Quadriga" - and the first Nechyba comic "The banker from the Naschmarkt" appeared. On Loibelsberger's 60th birthday, the poetry volume "Ants & Plants" was published as an e-book. In 2018, the sixth and final Nechyba novel »Schönbrunner Finale« and the poetry and short prose volume »Young Dummies« followed. In 2019 the short story volume »Morphium, Mokka, Mördergeschichten« was published.
