★ Drawing from 35 years of clinical expertise, Dr. Yoon introduces metabolic psychiatry as the next major frontier in mental health. He reveals that psychological struggles cannot be treated in isolation, showing that persistent lethargy, anxiety, and depression are biochemically rooted in bodily signals such as blood sugar spikes, cholesterol levels, visceral fat, and chronic inflammation.
★ In our hyper-digital era, we are plagued by cognitive overload, sluggish decision-making, and emotional exhaustion, a phenomenon widely known as "brain fry." This timely guide offers immediate, physiology-first actionable protocols to systematically rebuild and protect the mind-body system from the ground up.

Description

In this book, psychiatrist Yoon Daehyun challenges the conventional view that resilience is a matter of willpower. Drawing on metabolic psychiatry, he explains how mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, and low energy are closely linked to physical factors including blood sugar, cholesterol, visceral fat, and inflammation. Through real clinical cases, he shows how the body and mind operate as one system. Rather than trying to change thoughts alone, he offers practical, science-based strategies to restore the body's metabolic balance. For anyone feeling exhausted despite their best efforts, this book provides a new path to recovery: start by listening to the body's signals.
