Feature

★ In a society built to give us everything at the click of a button, learning to tolerate waiting, mistakes and boredom has become childhood’s greatest challenge.

★ A brand-new upgrade of the "calm parenting" approach that has been all the rage across Europe. This book uses brain science to help you read your child's body signals before emotional outbursts, giving them a lifetime gift of "patience and inner strength" in an era of instant gratification.

Description

Children grow up in an environment saturated with screens, constant stimulation, and instant rewards. Many parents feel at a loss: Why has their child's temper become so explosive? Why has waiting become so agonizing? Why does failure feel increasingly unbearable?

Grounded in neuroscience and drawing on the authors' firsthand experience as both educators and parents, this book offers a practical toolkit to help readers understand what happens inside a child's brain when emotions spiral out of control. With the help of brain-based tools and everyday case studies, it teaches parents how to accompany their children through emotional storms, navigate the frustration of setbacks, and build a calm family environment—helping children develop a healthy emotional foundation. The Dopamine Age urges parents: In this non-stop world, raise your children with empathy, steadfastness, and a calm mind. So, are you ready to raise your child calmly?
