Description
Inside every woman lives an invisible universe that accompanies her through every stage of life: the microbiota. It is a living ecosystem that influences health, emotions and well-being, changing in rhythm with the female life cycle.
From the first menstruation to menopause, including puberty, pregnancy and the most prevalent female diseases, the microbiota plays an essential role in how the body and mind adapt to each phase. Understanding how it works and transforms is the key to understanding ourselves.
In *The Life That Dwells Within Us*, Dr. Silvia Gómez Senent guides us through the life stages of the female microbiota. With accessible and scientifically rigorous language, she offers practical tools—from supplementation to lifestyle habits—to care for that delicate internal balance that sustains our health and well-being. This is a work that combines science and humanity, inviting you to discover the life that silently dwells within you. May this book help you look at yourself with tenderness, take care of yourself and embrace even your most vulnerable days. Well-being blossoms in such acceptance.
