Evie always dreamed of a perfect, sunny wedding. But fate played a cruel joke on her — her wedding took place at midnight, and her groom was not a prince charming, but a vampire prince.
Gavriel, mysterious and powerful, pulls the ordinary Evie into a world of danger and secrets. As a mortal, Evie must learn to survive by vampire rules and overcome her fear of the dark and the unknown. What she doesn’t know is that she carries secrets within her — connections to ancient supernatural races like dragons and light elves — secrets that will change her fate forever.
As they face more adventures and threats together, the bond between Evie and Gavriel deepens. From fear and resistance to trust and dependence, from contract to an unbreakable bond — they must overcome not only the barriers between their races, but also imperial conspiracies, betrayals from the past, and the weight of their own destinies.
