Description
Here comes the exciting opening of *Lawyer Avengers*, where young heroes solve real‑world cases and grow into genuine lawyers!
Inside a law firm works a special group of junior lawyers. Selected for the youth‑lawyer training program, they have graduated from law school and just passed the bar examination. Our heroes are Yu‑jeong, Ria, Yang Mi‑su, and the newly‑joined Ju‑ni‑a.
Though still inexperienced amid countless real‑life disputes, these four young advocates hold stronger passion and dedication to legal justice than anyone else. People call them the **Lawyer Avengers**.
#### The Cover‑Dance Case and the Copyright Battle
Mi‑a, a sixth‑grader, loves dancing and dreams of becoming a world‑class dancer. She posts online cover‑dance videos imitating her favorite idol’s choreography and gains popularity — until disaster strikes. The famous idol sues her for copyright infringement. Shocked and frightened, Mi‑a and her family turn to the Lawyer Avengers for help.
During the case, Mi‑a learns that creative works such as dance are also protected by copyright, and disrespecting creators’ rights can lead to legal liability. Events take an unexpected turn, and even Mi‑a’s beloved idol may end up in the defendant’s seat. Can Mi‑a win back her idol’s goodwill? Why is copyright protection so critical?
This book frames everyday copyright dilemmas for children within engaging case stories. It raises the question: **How can we safeguard creators’ rights while protecting our own dreams?** It delivers essential copyright knowledge for young readers, while celebrating the courage and passion of dream‑chasing kids.
#### The Trap of “Free‑of‑Charge”
High‑school student Seung Ji‑woo downloads movies for free from a site recommended by a friend, only to receive a lawsuit notice for copyright violation. Shocked, Ji‑woo and his father seek help from the Lawyer Avengers, and soon discover the problem goes far beyond simple illegal downloading.
The website lures children and teens with free coupons and fast download speeds. Worse still, the site’s operator tricked users into pirating content, then colluded with film companies to extort settlement money for profit.
Through thorough investigation, the Lawyer Avengers expose the truth: running this illegal website involves serious crimes spanning attorney‑law violations and fraud……
