Description
The author breaks away from the serious framework of traditional calligraphy, using colored ink to draw cute animals and warm, short phrases. The selection includes both well-loved “viral quotes” from social media and exclusive new works created for this book. These softly colored, round-lined words and pictures aim to offer a breathing space for modern people busy with work and family, turning the act of flipping through pages into a mental massage and reset.
Author
Hairdresser and calligrapher. Since 2012, she has been running workshops on handwritten POP promotion using brush characters for self-employed business owners. In 2015, she began creating her original “soft brush character art” and exhibiting it on handmade craft sites Creema and Minne. She has won first place in the calligraphy category of the art section and has consistently remained in the top ranks.
