Description

This is Empress Sisi’s second case.

She is certainly not the kind of dreamer who wanders about on rooftops or windowsills. After all, she is Empress Sisi! How long has it been since she last did something that set the whole court abuzz? Has she, like everyone else at court, gradually grown dull and unremarkable?

Schönbrunn Palace in the rain—another clichéd hunting party—seemed to Empress Sisi utterly tedious. When her cat, Karl, fell ill from eating far too many cream puffs, it felt as though everything had hit rock bottom. Then, suddenly, a gunshot rang out, and Sisi found herself back in her element. Between banquets and Viennese waltzes, a corpse was discovered on the dance floor. A crime urgently needed solving—and what made it even more thrilling: the culprit turned out to be someone from her own circle. Emperor Franz Joseph did his utmost to keep his wife out of it, but Empress Sisi, of course, knew full well how to wield her charm and wit to get what she wanted; her keen instincts were indispensable once again…

Between the Spanish Riding School and the Emperor’s Waltz: the emperor’s beloved empress has launched another investigation. Yet this time, it proves far more dangerous than she ever imagined…
